When choosing our fabrics, we focus on how they will feel on the wearer. We select pure fabrics such as cotton and linen, which come in various weights and textures, primarily sourced from Japan and Belgium. These fabrics interact gently with your skin and allow it to breathe. Linen, available in both heavy and light forms, adjusts to your body and becomes softer and more comfortable over time. Canvas, made from cotton, has a sturdy form yet remains soft to the touch. Both fabrics age gracefully, retain their quality through time. Offcuts are a part of our process. We repurpose them by turning them into stuffing for bolsters or crafting them into bags and vests, making the most of our materials and putting our eco consciousness into practice.

We formulate our own dyes using natural ingredients and fixatives, creating shades from deep indigo to silvery grey. Locally made natural softeners are used to reveal the true textures of the fabrics while preserving the fibers. The water used in this process is also repurposed to nourish the plants in our dye garden, a harmonious cycle. This way of dyeing and fabric treatment is one element of the evolving beauty of each garment.
